Camille. Grade 4 at the IEC. I'm so excited to say this is my tenth year at Lew-Port! It is my thirteenth year of teaching. I'm happy to finally be reading and exploring this book. The topic of mindset has come up a number of times in other PD courses.

ReplyDeleteMy name is Nicole Neri and I am a CT in 4th and 5th grade at the LP Intermediate Center. In the past, I was a long term substitute for 2 years in various positions. This is currently my second year as a full time teacher. I've heard a lot of great things about this book!

ReplyDeleteMy name is Lori Boss. I have been teaching at Lew-Port for 19 years. (I took 5 years off in the middle somewhere.) I have taught Middle School Special Ed, Pre-K, Kindergarten, and Grade 3. I have heard about this book in several professional forums and I am excited to read it!

I was an Elementary Teacher for 14 years, and this is my 5th year as a Special Education Teacher. Currently, I am co-teaching in a 4th grade classroom. I heard about this book at a training last year, and I am looking forward to reading it.

My name is Susan Black. This is my 20th year teaching fourth grade. I had long term positions in third and fifth before I was hired for fourth grade.
ReplyDeleteMy name is Dana Thompson. I have been teaching Family Consumer Science in LPMS since 2004, and have been teaching FACS since 2002. Prior to teaching I worked as a registered dietitian for 13 yrs. After teaching in other district, I quickly realized how awesome it is to work in LewPort. I have also been teaching Health and Wellness at the IEC for 3 years, which I really enjoy!

ReplyDeleteHi, I'm Sue Francis. I have been a COTA at Lew-Port for 19 years. I worked for BOCES prior to be hired at Lew-Port. I also worked as an OT in mental health for 10 years before switching to school based therapy.

ReplyDeleteHi everyone! Amy Ferrari here! I am the Physical Therapist throughout the district. I have been a PT for 25 years. I have worked in many settings from geriatric Rehab, Brain Injury and Spinal Cord Injury, Sports Medicine. School-based therapy has been my focus (and favorite) for the last 10 years. Looking forward to sharing thoughts with all of you! :)

ReplyDeleteHi, my name is Laree DeFranco. I have been teaching at Lew-Port for the past 22 years....the last 16 have been in third grade. Prior to that, I taught 4 years in Texas. Over the years, my experience as ranged from first grade reading to sixth grade ELA; however, the third grade team I work with is a keeper!
